GHETTO Photographic series on the built environment within Farum Midtpunkt on the Copenhagen urban fringe. Colour.
Farum Midtpunkt is a large-scale social housing estate built during the early 1970s. The design is based on the dense and low principle. The estate has 24 three storey terraced buildings with over 1600 units plus common social facilities and landscaped and recreational areas. The estate houses about one-third of the Farum population with a large migrant population. The estate has often been described as a ghetto.
